Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Jesus has charged his followers to bring others into a relationship with him.  Jesus' love for humanity as the Son of God has demonstrated to us God's amazing love for God's creation.  As we share with others the love that God continues to pour into our lives, Jesus' Gospel is made known in both words and deeds.

Our church has been blessed to be a part of multiple mission opportunities in our local communities as well as in far off places like Chichicastenango, Guatemala.

We are also pleased that three of  our members have been missionaries with two different organizations.  Lisa Whitaker and Eileen Benner are both serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Carol Angelo (now retired) served many years in a medical mission in Guatemala as part of ASELSI's staff.

As we support our missionaries, go on local and foreign missions, give our resources to help persons struggling in our own communities, we spread the Love of Jesus with others.

Serve the Kingdom on our upcoming mission trip to Guatemala

Because of the current global pandemic, we do not have a date for our next Guatemala mission trip.  It is our goal to travel to Chichicastenango, Guatemala at least every other year to help with the Medical Mission at ASELSI ministries.  We also help in the local communities by providing materials and labor for small building projects to better the lives of those in the surround communities.
