Community Center for Seniors
Tuesday and Thursday
10 AM to 1 PM
The Community Center for Seniors meets in the church's Great Hall twice per week. The Center focuses on socialization, education, and fitness. Any Atlantic County Senior (age 60+) is more than welcome to attend!
The center offers physical fitness activities with gentle exercises geared toward Seniors.
Often there is a program with a speaker from a local organization. These programs are varied and may include information on diet, home safety, health issues, or may be a seasonal celebration. There are also fun game days!
Of course, there are munchies! The offerings vary, but generally include hot and cold drinks along with snacks. (Occasionally we will offer a full lunch. Luncheons will be announced in advance and will require a reservation.)
Transportation is also offered for those who live within Absecon city limits.
